Last year, we decided to put a spin on a typical blind tasting and it was such a success, we had to put it in our tasting season again this year.
Rather than a typical blind tasting game of guessing the qualities of the whisky, your team will be in charge of naming it! Much like the members of the Scotch Malt Whisky Society panel, your team will need to decide on a creative, but accurate title for the whisky, along with some tasting notes to go along with it. Try to be colourful, since your whisky name will compete against other teams and will be judged by one team each round!
All of the whisky being selected for this tasting is from the SMWS, so you’ll also get to hear what the experts have chosen. Let’s see if you pick out anything close! We’ll also have prizes to give out, including guessing the correct regions, finish and age of each whisky! It’s the perfect way to close out the whisky portion of our 2017/2018 season, before we hit the summer spirits! Hope to see you there!
