I’m pleased to present a special roster of whiskeys for this year’s bourbon night. This tasting will contain exclusively single barrel expressions from a representative selection of the major distilleries in Kentucky, with an interesting independent bottling that has travelled halfway around the world before arriving in our glasses. Single barrel whiskeys are fascinating, as no two barrels will taste exactly the same. Join me as we dive into some of the history, methodology, and marketing behind the single barrel concept from some of my favourite distilleries.
