Last November’s featured tasting was a tour of Islay malts, and it was one of the members’ favorite KSFSS events for the 15-16 season (and mine!). We’re bringing back the theme for this November, and we’ll probably make it permanent November thing since the members have been asking for it! Who knew there were so many peat-heads!
The whiskies I’ve been able to procure for this November include three from the ever popular SMWS bottlings, a special anniversary bottling of Lagavulin, and an undisclosed Ardbeg Day release! Here’s the list so far.

Ardbeg – Ardbeg Day release! (Hint: Not this year’s)
Laphroaig – Caideas 2016 Edition
Caol Ila – SMWS 53.216
Bunnahabhain – SMWS 10.90
Kilchoman – Sanaig
The Kilchoman is not quite a guarantee yet as it is a new release and distribution has yet to be determined. The Bunnahabhain is a recent release from the SMWS. As you can see from the number, only 90 casks have come out of that distillery. The timing couldn’t be more perfect!
